Sunday 16th April until Sunday 30th April – Ferndown Forest West (WIM) – Download Ferndown West A new map of an area not used in 15 years.

Juniors can run unaccompanied as there are no roads to cross – it is TD3 and 4 standard
Arm and leg cover needed – trail shoes or orienteering studs recommended (not metal dobs) Compass needed.
Opens on Sunday 16th April until Sunday 30th April (map available for downloading from Saturday 15th April)
Parking is at BH21 2UP at junction of Bridle Way and Suffolk Close, Wimborne – look for 57 and 59 on Bridle Way – please be careful not to block private drives – there is a small track entrance to the forest between the houses which takes you up to the uphill start.

Parking Broadstone Scout Group & Broadstone Wessex Bowling Club car park off Dunyeats Road, Broadstone, BH18 8AX.
On your phone the event is Broadstone MapRun 2023 PXAS Score N60. Note that Control 7 may not register/beep at the 15m resolution. If this is the case, you will need to increase to 30m using “Review Results (HITMO)” function after your run. NB If you want the extra bonus points, you need to wait and run the course at the Find Your Way event on Saturday 13th May.
Planner's note: Once you start, you cannot pass through the start/finish again until the end of your run (otherwise MapRun will think you are finishing and stop your run). The course has been deliberately set to pose the challenge of how you do this if you want to get all 30 controls including control 15 - it can be done.

Park in the main car park in Verwood opposite the park. (What 3 words bluffing.peroxide.haystack which makes the Webmaster think of Boris Johnson!)
Saturday 1st July until Saturday 15th July – Upton. Parking in Upton Country Park (WSX) BH17 7BH, Poole Road Upton. Park in the main Car Park. Please note, the map is 1:10 000 Map

Park in The Pilot (pub)/Iceland car park, Adastral Square, Adastral Rd, Canford Heath, Poole BH17 8SA
It is a public car park, so no restrictions. The start/finish is just in front of Iceland (a tree).
