Location:
Moor Valley Country Park – use main entrance off Horton Road
Parking:
Parking will be in the Overflow Car Park, please follow the signs on the day.
There will be a discounted rate of £3 per vehicle for competitors.
A discount QR code will be issued to each vehicle on the day on arrival by the event parking official.
At the time of exit proceed to the car park pay station and follow the instruction on the QR Code.
Once scanned at the paystation you will have 15 mins to leave the car park.
Map:
1:10000. Printed on waterproof material. Control descriptions on map only, no loose descriptions.
Course Info:
One Hour Score Course with 25 controls (10 points each)
Additionally there will be 3 novelty controls (Mother Christmas, a Christmas Tree and WIM Fairies, all worth 50 points).
Punching will be using S/I system. All controls will be SIAC enabled.
Non SIAC cards are available to hire. Lost hired cards will be charged at £40
Facilities:
Toilets are located in the main building.
The Barn Cafe will be open from 10:30 until 16:30 (Subject to change by Moors Valley Country Park Team so please check)
Dogs:
Dogs are allowed on the course under close control.
Please keep all dogs on a short lead in the start, finish and assembly areas.
Please clear up after your dog and use the waste bins that are provided.
Timings:
Registration will be open from 10:00
Hired Dibber collection will be from 10:00 at the registration tent
Please make sure that you have registered by 10.45 in time for the mass start at 11:00

£3 Students (anyone in full time education at University or College)
£10 Family Groups (which includes one map). Extra maps are available for family group members to purchase at £1 per additional map and these need to be ordered when entering the event. (Please note: Results will only be published for the family group leader, not the additional group members and no dibbers will be issued with additional maps.)

Please email the organiser Karen French (kefrenchie@btinternet.com) to put your name on the reserve list in case any maps become available.
Spare maps will be issued on a first come first served basis until the map limit is reached.
Cancellation:
Cancellation is a last resort, however if very bad weather is forecast or some unforeseen event makes it necessary to cancel, a notice will be placed on the WIM website (www.wimborne-orienteers.org.uk). We will also send an email via the event entry system. If the event is cancelled, Wimborne Orienteers reserve the right to retain part of the entry fee to cover un-recoverable costs.
Risk:
Orienteering is an adventure sport; you are responsible for your own safety at the event and must not do anything that puts yourself or others at unnecessary risk.
